Back in Moscow

Image
Hey there, our vocation has come to an end and here we are, in Moscow. This vocation was really good and the only thing that spoiled the impression was our travel from Sheremetievo airport to dacha. It took twice as much as the flight from Sofia to Moscow! Busy, busy roads and endless traffic jams. Two days at dacha helped recover a little after all this. Slava is flying to Kazan' tomorrow so he'll plunge in his work but I'll do it after September 1. Buy for now and have a look at some pics we made in Sofia and Stara Zagora with our Bulgarian friends: Tencho, Incha, Marianna, Maggy, Vesco and children. Love and hugs...

Hello from Bolgaria...

Image
Hey there, Here we are in Santa Marina near Sozopol, Bolgaria. We arrived on August 8 in Sofia and satyed for two days in the centre of the city - "Grand Hotel". Sofia is a very quiet city with population about 1,3 mln people only and it's very different from busy, busy and overcrowded Moscow. We took a guide to show us around Sofia and he even drove us to the all-nuns monastery on the Vitosha mountain. It was very cosy and nice there, you'll see from pics. On August 10 we were driven by Stanislaw's friends Tenho and his wife Incha to Santa Marina. It's a beautiful residential complex with apartment blocks which people buy or they are used for rent by tourists like us. Our days are usual: swimming, tennis and some walking. It's OK as we're fed up with our life in Moscow. Love and hugs to all...

Olia's stay in Moscow 2012

Image
Hey there, Olia's leaving for Munich tomorrow after a one week stay in Moscow. Time passed so quickly and she has always been so busy visiting Oleg's one year after death event, seeing friends, going to circus, dacha and many more places. It was a good stay despite some problems with food, time difference and other Russian inconveniences. I think she was happy here and enjoyed seeing both friends and Stepka with Marina as well as Stasik with Katya at our dacha. It's very hot in Moscow but dacha is blooming... Love and hugs... 4139471007_642312524_n.jpg" />

Dacha's pics

Image
Hey there, Today, July 30, Olia has come from London. She flew from SF to London and spent 8 hours there as she was exhausted. London Olympic games are on so she stayed at the airport. So now she is in Moscow and I'm driving from dacha to see her at home. Hope to see her alive and kicking! Meanwhile, have a look at some funny pics I made at dacha with Stephan and a domestic plant which is blooming wild outside the house Hugs and love... .

New dresses

Image
Hi there, It's a long time since I last posted to the blog. Actually nothing special happened. One big pleasure was the three new dresses which Slava ordered for me on the Internet. They all are a good summer outfit for this holiday and I already tried one at the Stanislavsky Theatre at Tverskaya street where we saw a comedy 'Man and Women'. I really liked the performance. Have a look. Love and hugs to all...

Stasik's Wedding

Image
Hey there, It was a Big Day on July 6 in our family. Stasik, my grandson, married the girl named Katya who I saw only once. She is already pregnant and is expecting a baby. Hopefully, this was not the only reason for their marriage but Love and Understanding. The good sign is that their marriage was very close to a Big Religious Day - July 8 - Petr and Phevronia Muromskie who are the Saint Patrons of love and good family life. God Bless them!!! Well, I was not at the wedding party as it was held in Chekov, Sasha's dacha with all relatives from Sasha's side. I don't think I'd feel comfortable there. I have got only one photograph of the newweds. Have a look...Love and hugs...

It's my Dear Granny's Day

Image
Hey there, June is coming to an end... Days are very long and bright these days. Today I've been to Nikolo Arkhangelskoe cemetery to see my Granny who died 27 June 1982. It was the dearest person in my life and her death (though it was a big loss) started a new leaf in my life - I got merried my dear Stanislaw who suddenly reappeared in my life and managed to fill the emptiness inside me after dear Granny's death. She always played a great role in my life and was very kind to me and she really gave me everything... I'll always remember her...I hope Dima (lives in America) and Natasha/Nana (who lives in Tbilisi) will also remember her as the dearest and kindest person. She was very important to them, too...Well, in the evening we went to the theatre and enjoyed Vladimir Spivakovsky and Maria Aronova in a new performance. Have a look at some pics. Love and hugs to all of you...

Back in Moscow

Image
Hey there, Here I am, at dacha with Marina's family all around today as yesterday there was Stephan's birthday. He's three now and it's a big deal to Marina and Kostya and Stasik who's come with his new girlfriend Katya. She's pregnant and she's going to have a baby in Autumn. She's a pretty girl from Tyumen (Siberia) but now she lives in Moscow. Tha's the news by now. I did not take part in a burhday dinner as we still feel not very good after getting back from the US. Have a look at Stephan in front of somebody's old Russian car Zhiguli. Funny picture...Back in Russia! Love and hugs...

Last days in LA

Image
Hey there, Olia's gone and we are alone here in LA. Today I returned the car 'Ford Escape' and we took a taxi, but it's expensive. We already saw animals at LA Zoo and looked around Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive, but Slava called this place - LA's 'Rublevka' - a posh area in Moscow with expensive boutiques and cafes. But overall impression of the place is very positive. Tomorrow we're planning to go to Hollywood museum near Kodak Theatre and look around it. Have a look a some pics I made so far.

Los Angeles and more...

Image
Hey there, Here we are in LA. Today Olia's left us for SF having stayed with us for 3 days, which were really full of surprises probably typical of LA. First, we attended 'IRIS' show, which is Cirque De Soleil based in LA. It was fantastic and full of computer animation in the background of the stage. The building was the famous 'Kodak' theatre on Sunset blvd. Second, was Venice beach - full of marijuana shops, skateboarders and hippies. Third was an amazing 'Hollywood' sign on the hill where we took some pics of the surrounding area. Hugs and love to all of you...
