Yesterday we had a very warm and nice birthday party at the Georgian restaurant Kavkazskaya Plennitsa at prospect Mira. Slava arranged a surprise party with our close friends, but I had been informed that it would be a romantic evening with only Slava and me. So can you imagine my delight when I saw in a special room for 12 people all our close friends - Alla, Gena, Igor and Natash, Aldemir and Tanya...!!! It was really a suprise! We enjoyed fantastic food, dancing and talking with each other as it's been long since we saw our friends. Thank you Slavochka, my best friend and husband! Hugs and love to all my nearest around the world.

Hey there,  Marina's birthday is tomorrow (February 15) so the whole family have been to see us on Saturday, the day before. Tomorrow they're visiting Stas and have a small party there.  Anyway, Marina is as busy as a bee, as usual, and it's good. We wish her all the very best in her life!!! Stephan is very serious, he's crazy about Lego and Star Wars. I don't know if it's good. I hope he'll understand himself. Love and hugs to all my nearest.

It was so nice to have the whole family - Stas, Kliment, Katia, Nadya  and Igor at our dacha visiting and eating cakes and candies with us. Kliment has become a very lovely and talkative boy. He can recite poetry and sing songs. But iPad video is his passion too, just like Yanochka. We had a nice talk with Nadya, Igor and Katia. So good to be together with your nearest and dearest:)) Love and hugs to all!

Dear all, I've just returned from a two-day tri to Sacramento and the town of Folsom nearby. Both of th are very green and beautiful. We lived in the Citizen hotel in Sacramento and even managed to visit a Russian Church there ony Angel's Day (January 25th). Here are some pics on this and our prior visit to SF Zoo. Hey there, we've been staying in SF almost for a week. All is fine but the only problem is Yana's acute bronchitis. She keeps coughing and crying most all nights. Nobody can sleep and this weakens all of us. She had immunization a couple of days ago and this probably added to her mild cold. We stay at home because of this. Yet, I managed to make some shots of Goat Grazing in Olia's neighborhood. They use grazing to prevent city fires. Love and hugs to all:))

Hey there, It was a nice stay in Hoi An for 8 days, out of which only 2 days were really sunny and warm for swimming in the sea. Today we've left Hoi An with the same sunny weather and now we're staying in our favourite Sofitel Plaza in a foggy Hanoi observing it from the 13th floor. We've had a good and relaxing time in Hoi An, though it was not always warm and sunny. On the last day we had Anne, Slava's ex-postgraduate student and we together made a trip around old Hoi An city. Hey there, I wish all my nearest and dearest a Happy New year 2015. Let it be peaceful and bright with smiles and good mood all year round! We're staying at Sunrise Beach Resort in Hoi An. The place and the city are very friendly and familiar to us as we've been here several times. We made friends with nice Ukrainian people (Maks, Inna and Sasha) living in London. Here we are in Hanoi, Vietnam. We stay at the Sofitel Hotel, just  on the bank of two lakes. The view from the room on the 11th floor is splendid! In two days we're flying to Danang, on the sea. Hope to have good weather there. Here, in Hanoi, it's 17-19 and quite foggy. Yesterday there was a Chrismas performance in Sofitel. We made some pics, have a look. Love and hugs to all:))
