Hey there. I've just got back from Ekaterinburg. Was there on CIU assignment as usual. This time it was memorable as I visited not only the Grand Church but also the museum of the Tsar's family. There I saw some artifacts of those terrible times and was happy to see young girls from Ekaterinburg reaction - they sometimes cried. Doctor Botkin is now a Saint too. Good news! Love and hugs;))

Hey there, I'm here in Yaroslavl, and Kostroma. I was examining in Kostroma on May 14/15. The taxi took us to Yaroslavl and now I'm waiting for the train to Moscow. In Yaroslavl we passed the Feoforivskaya street where Ira, Misha and Dima with Michael lived. I took from taxi some pics of their place on Feodorivskaya street and the church across the street. It's Feodorovskaya church too. Have a look and try to recall the view of the old place. Hugs to all:)

Hey there, Here I am in Tbilisi. We arrived on May 2 and have been staying at 'Iveria Radisson Blu' hotel. We see Nana and the family every day and spend good time together. Flying back on May 8th. Tbilisi is really gorgeous!! Love and hugs to all my nearest:))

Hey there, Today we've tried out a new system for cooking. It's called Amphora or Tandyr. It's a big amphora made of thick ceramics, in which you put food for cooking inside it. The fish stakes came out so juicy and tender!! Great! There are some pics.. Love and hugs to all my nearest:))

Hey there. It is amazing at the Far East of Russia.  These 2 cities are very special with stunning view over the Pacific Ocean and ships along the sea shore! Vladivostok is very similar to San Francisco- on the hills and many freeways around the city. It was raining in Vladivosyok, so I made some nice pics of Nakhodka in sun. Hey there,  Here I am in Baku  at GA airport. Sitting and waiting for my Siberia flight at 17:35. As usual, it was a flying visit here, but it's sunny and warm in Baku. Hey there. I'm in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. My first impression is - it is very huge with massive construction all around. Mosques and huge buildings make it similar to Dubai, even though I haven't been there. Today I'm flying to Taraz, it's an old and traditional city in the South of the country. Back home - on Monday. Hey there, tomorrow we're flying back to LA and then to Moscow. It was a very nice and warm stay here, in Sacramento. Our overall impression is very positive-the city is much smaller than SF and sunnier. The houses are mostly one storey buildings. Olia's restaurant is going to be a success. They both try hard for that. The house and the neighborhood are really good, somewhat remind me Dima's 'Fishers'. Have a look at some pics on Father Pavel's blessing the house and Olia's business. We arrived late in the evening after a 13+1 hour flight from Moscow. Now, that we've stayed here for almost 3 days, I can say that I love it. It's in a nice and well groomed neighborhood of Sacramento called Arden Park. So it's very green and quite centrally located area, just 15-20 min drive from the center. The restaurant was opened a week ago, but there were many people when we were there. Yana seems to be happy here and she's a 'sunlight' girl. The pool is big and it would be nice to swim there in summer. Love and hugs to all my nearest:)
