Days are mostly sunny and we walk around and go to Moscow for a couple of days. No vaccination yet. WE'll wait and see how it goes. Many hugs to all my dearest and nearest. New Year - 31. Saratov, Arkhangelsk, Tomsk in Nov/December 2020

Hey there, I haven't published anything for a while. The COVID-19 situation makes me a bit forgetful and unwilling to write and post. Anyway, the Year 2020 is coming to the end and it's high time to look back at the main events that have happened since October 2020. Let's do so: Saratov (November 21). Before that the Tyumen trip (November 14) was cancelled due to Covid - all CAE candidates got ill and the Centre (RU028) announced at the very last moment. I returned from SVO airport. But Saratov was great! I loved every moment there. The centre was grand as usual. Arkhangelsk . I was there on December 5. It was only because Glenn Hugh was unable to go there due to having no visa. So I was asked to do this and I agreed. I was impressed by the Severnaya Dvina river - my hotel (Novotel) looked over the river and I was able to walk along the embankment. The river is huge and mighty. The city is very old and full of wooden houses. Tomsk. I was there on December 12. It was a brig...

Kaliningrad, Kostroma and Omsk: 12.09, 10,10; 17.10.

Hey there, I've been silent for a while. There are 2 reasons - COVID risks and living mostly in dacha. Now we're having the 2d wave of COVID in Moscow and the rest of the world, but I did my usual business going to some Centres around Russia. There were 3 of them- in the title. Have a look at some pics, but the last one (Omsk) was the most memorable as I visited the cemetery and the local Vrubel Art Museum, which impressed me a lot. Hope you'll like them too.  Kaliningrad: Kostroma: Omsk: Love and hugs to all my dearest!!

Dear all. Bad news has arrived. Died Ivan Schegolev, Lena’s brother, aunt Nadya’s son, he was killed by COVID-19. This happened on April 20, at one of the best clinics in Moscow. His daughter and 2 granddaughters and his wife (she’s suffering from mental disease) are in grieving. We all too. He was only 59, worked as a doc. film producer. Lenochka and Slava (her husband) sent us some pics and links to know more about Ivan. Love and hugs to all my dearest. https://disk.yandex.ru/i/pVp5AnTrvHZTUw

This is a YouTube video made by Igor Chernozatonsky, a former doctor who is now running his YouTube channel on the book he made "Russia Glorious Days in History". The book is a huge volume. He lives in Vladivostok and decided to spread this information via YouTube. In this presentation, he speaks about many historical facts from Russian history, but at 13'58'' he starts speaking about Nikolai Petrovich Linevich, who is our cousin, great grandfather. I think it may be interesting for all of you. Hugs and love from me and Slava. Bykovo, Moscow region, 23 April 2020.

COVID 19 And Trip To Baku

Image
Hi there, here we are in Moscow. We arrived from Sacramento on March7. Then on March 12, we (Stanislav and me) flew to Baku together so that I could do Inspection in Baku, then the following step was the Inspection in Tbilisi (on March 14). After that, we expected to stay in Tbilisi till Monday  (16 March) in order to see Nana and the girls. However, COVID 19 made its corrections. Tbilisi was closed for visits since March 13 and we decided to stay one more day in Baku and observe it better. It's a pity we wasted money on tickets and booking hotels in Tbilisi, but Baku is really gorgeous and Slava liked it very much. Have a look at some pics of the "Old City of Baku"
