September 2021 Hey there. September 2021 was uneventful and plain. We stayed at the dacha.  The weather was rather cool for September and overcast.  On Sept. 17-19 I was in Novosibirsk doing my business. There, I met my friend Zoya and Sasha (her daughter). They took me to akademgorodok city to the chamber music concert (violin and symphony orchestra) and also we walked in the botanical garden. It was beautiful and sunny!  In late September we visited Marina's home - now she has got a cat - sphinx, it's funny and kind, but Slava reacted to her with allergy:( Have a look at some pics:

Hey there, August is coming to the end and it has been warm and relatively sunny.     On August 6 we visited Stas, Kate and Kliment at Chekhov in the Moscow region. He bought the house near his father's dacha and now he's planning to spend summer there as it's too hot in Cyprus (Larnaca) where they live now and where Klim goes to school. We liked the house and the place though it's far from our dacha and therefore we won't be able to see them often...But Stas  is doing well as an IT manager and he has furnished the house in the smart and modern style. They keep two dogs that travel with them to Russia. On August 12 we flew to Simferopol (Yalta) where we stayed at the "Yalta Intourist" hotel. It has been renovated and now it's one of the best in Crime. They even have a perfect and well-groomed Zoo in the hotel area. The animals there were neat and happy. The only excursion we went to was Massandra Alexander III Imperial Palace, where he didn't live ...

Hey there. It was very hot in July in Moscow. But in Sevastopol (hotel "Aquamarin") we had only 3 sunny days after which it was cloudy and rainy. We had a very festive Dad's birthday party at the restaurant but after that it was overcast. Kids had a lot of fun in the "Water zones" with dolphins, but I didn't swim much.  Olia's leaving was not very easy as she had a lot of luggage,  2 kids and a Gizmo, the dog. Now they are getting used to the Sacramento time zone (jet leg and other problems). Have a look at some pics. Hugs to all of you

Hey there, June is coming to an end. It has been a very busy month not only because I've visited Novosibirsk (June 6) and Simferopol (June 19) but also because of Olia and the kids coming (June 14) and staying with us. On June 15 we celebrated Stepha's birthday (12th) and on June 28 - Yana's (8th). Both trips were really memorable and successful.  In Novosibirsk, I visited the Science library with a Tairov lecture about the Spanish Khoakin Sorolia artist as well as met my friend Zoya from Koltsovo town. Her daughter Sasha drove us around. In Simferopol, I enjoyed the town itself and the Trinity Day at Luka Krimskiy church Stephan's and Yana's birthdays were great. It was at home and Yana's at 'NEBO Trampoline park" Memorable and fun. All kids were happy!!! Hugs to all my nearest and dearest!!!
