Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavle

Dear all,
Here I am in Moscow, after summer ESOL exam trips and visiting Yaroslavle with my aunt - Irina (a nun from the USA). I'm a bit tired after all those trips in May, June as they went one after another and not always I was ready and willing to go in for it. Nizhny was pretty lovely as the sun was shining and the kids in school 67 (specialized English school in the area of Nizhny N. where Russian writer Maxim Gorky lived) were really lovely and amuzing. After 3pm I was free to vizit their city Art Gallery and I really enjoyed Mark Shagal there as there was his exhibition called Biblical Shagal. It was so impressive that I didn't expect to be so overwhelmed by it. In fact, I was so ignorant that I'd always associated Shagal with "Black Square" - nothing else. Have a look at some of his masterpieces under the above title. I think you'll love them. As for the Yaroslavle, I was there for 2 days, from 26-28 June with my aunt Irina who had lived there before 1994, now she lives in the USA. She had to do some business there. We had some free time there and drove to the Tolgsky female monastery. It's just outside Yaroslavle and, as I drove my car, this wasn't difficult. So, my trips came to an end and that's it. Anyway, I had great impressions during this early summer 2008 and Thanks God for this!!!
