Hey there,
Eventually, the big day and the celebration are over. Frankly speaking, it was pretty noisy, crowded and not very funny. I expected the party would be indoors, but it was outdoors, around the swimming pool. Even at the beginning, I thought that some Russians could easily fall in it and this was the case after 24-00. The food and the performance were very good but the impression was spoiled by crowds of people, We had Russian people from Vladivostok sitting next to us. They had just arrived from the airport and tried to eat and drink to catch up. See the result in some photos and you'll understand what happened.
Anyway, once again "Happy New Year 2010" to all of you and take care...

My trip to Saratov came to an end on December 8th. It was fine and I had really many regrets that they had a lot of snow there, in Saratov, whereas in Moscow it's grey and sleazy. ESOL people there are really efficient and everything was well organized. My FCE examining on December 8th in Moscow was nothing special, without any unexpected things. Thanks God for that! The best news is that today I've met my new FCE group in school 1359, Zhulebino. They are all pretty young, from 8th form, and seemed to be very cute. We decided to split the group into two ones in March, after our CAE boys and girls have done the examination. I'll tell you more about the new group as soon as I know about them more. That's all for now.

Late July - August 2023 - December 2023

Hi there. It’s a shame, but I haven’t posted for so long! Here I’ll try to catch it up chronologically as this period has been full of many sad and unpredictable events:    Late July - 2023: Flight to Bosporus, area Taxim. Spent there a great time with Olia, Slav and kids. 11August - 16 August: Flight to Jordanville convent to say ‘Good Bye’ to my dearest aunt - Mother Anna. She was about to pass away. This took place on August 17, just after my leaving. Thanks God I managed to see her for 2 days and talked to her, even though it was really difficult for her.. Before that (in April 2023) Olia, David and kids visited Mother Anna. She looked much better at that time - see their photo. Next to this pic, there is my photo with her, which was taken in 1956. . Early October 2023: our flight to Belek Turkey with our friends - Lara and Sasha: it was a nice chance to distract from grievances we experienced in August. Family reunion - Dad's jubilee!!!

Dear all. It was a really busy time in my life as within one week I had so many events one by one. First, I had my aunt Irina and my daughter Olga together in my small flat visiting on the occasion of our Dad's 55th anniversary. The occasion itself took place on July 3d in a small cafe called "Gusar" not far from "Kakhovskaya" metro station. The cafe belongs to Stanislav's friend from Dagestan, Aldemir, and, as you can imagine, everything was perfectly organized with exclusive manu (Georgean and European food) as well as professional girls-dancers. They performed every 5-10 minutes and were so gorgeous and amazing that even the oldest among our guests (people over 70) could not help dancing and enjoying themselves as kids. I was really happy as I could see my family reunion: daughters - Marina and Olga, grandson - Stas, he's 16, and my dearest and nearest husband Stanislav altogether.
