Trip to Vienna and last days in Tihany
Hey there, yesterday we spent the whole day in Vienna leaving from our hotel at 7am and getting back late in the evening. It was a long and pretty tiring drive across the Hungarian-Austrian border and then to Vienna but it was worth it. The city is absolutely amazing and charming. It reminded me about Barselona, with many nice cafes and typical for German counties gothic architecture. Many things in the city are connected with music and opera. In Vienna, there are also nontraditional artists with their own vision of life and its beauty, e.g. Hunderwasser and his strange forms of buildings and pictures. Vienna has many historic monuments to emperors and a famous Maria Teresia sculpture in the centre reminds about Elizaveta Petrovna who was her friend. We had no time for museums but we dropped in a St Peter's castle just in the heart of Vienna. There we enjoyed a free organ music concert. Such concerts are held every day! Amazing city! After concerts we enjoyed Austrian strudels with apples and cheese. They were sooo... good! Loved Vienna very much. Love to all my nearest and dearest...
