Tbilisi in early March

Hey there,
Here we are, in Tbilisi. We arrived on March 5th and are leaving tomorrow. We stayed at the Holiday Inn hotel but it's very close to Nanushka's place. We spent much time with Nanushka, Zurik, Sopo, Salo, Natashka and Irakliy. One evening we spent with my classmate Yuro Mechitov, Tamila, Lada and Irishka. It was really great and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the dearest people around. Hope to come here again. Love and hugs to all my dearest people:)

My trip to Saratov came to an end on December 8th. It was fine and I had really many regrets that they had a lot of snow there, in Saratov, whereas in Moscow it's grey and sleazy. ESOL people there are really efficient and everything was well organized. My FCE examining on December 8th in Moscow was nothing special, without any unexpected things. Thanks God for that! The best news is that today I've met my new FCE group in school 1359, Zhulebino. They are all pretty young, from 8th form, and seemed to be very cute. We decided to split the group into two ones in March, after our CAE boys and girls have done the examination. I'll tell you more about the new group as soon as I know about them more. That's all for now.

Late July - August 2023 - December 2023

Hi there. It’s a shame, but I haven’t posted for so long! Here I’ll try to catch it up chronologically as this period has been full of many sad and unpredictable events:    Late July - 2023: Flight to Bosporus, area Taxim. Spent there a great time with Olia, Slav and kids. 11August - 16 August: Flight to Jordanville convent to say ‘Good Bye’ to my dearest aunt - Mother Anna. She was about to pass away. This took place on August 17, just after my leaving. Thanks God I managed to see her for 2 days and talked to her, even though it was really difficult for her.. Before that (in April 2023) Olia, David and kids visited Mother Anna. She looked much better at that time - see their photo. Next to this pic, there is my photo with her, which was taken in 1956. . Early October 2023: our flight to Belek Turkey with our friends - Lara and Sasha: it was a nice chance to distract from grievances we experienced in August. This is a YouTube video made by Igor Chernozatonsky, a former doctor who is now running his YouTube channel on the book he made "Russia Glorious Days in History". The book is a huge volume. He lives in Vladivostok and decided to spread this information via YouTube. In this presentation, he speaks about many historical facts from Russian history, but at 13'58'' he starts speaking about Nikolai Petrovich Linevich, who is our cousin, great grandfather.
