Hey there. It was my last April assignment to Saratov for 'Atlas' Language centre with very nice Natalia Karpova, CEM. I waste at the station and spent a day observing TKT. It was useful and interesting as I saw some funny things there. The city of Saratov was beautiful, as usual. On Thursday we're leaving for Turkey. Looking forward to it...Love and hugs to all.

Hey there, I'm here on COU assignment but I lived in this city for one year (1965) with Nun Anna ( Irene), Michael and Dima who was 6 years old then. Now the city is also beautiful but with all the attributes of modern life - IT shops, Supetmarkets, Adverts and so on all around. I could remember prospect Metallurgov and the Park Metsllurgov, but failed to find 'Suntekhprpwct', where Irena and Michael worked. Then I found it on the 3d floor of a shopping centre, It's s pity! Yesterday we celebrated a"Christ Risen" Day in Russia, the major Orthodox Holiday. The Big Day was really warm and sunny, unlike all previous day's which were grey and rather cold. It was so good to eat on this Big Day eggs and meat as I limited myself to plain food with no meat and poultry during the Lent. It was my attempt to follow the Lent but this could be much harder. Slava had bought a new amazing car Audi 5 and he's very proud of it now:) Love and hugs to all my nearest:)

Hey there, here we are in Belgirod. It was Alya's birthday that we celebrated yesterday at the Belgorod Hotel, where Slava gathered all his classmates for this occasion. It was a really nice and funny party as almost all former classmates can play the piano or are musicians. We enjoyed singing songs or dancing. The weather in Belgorod is sunny and the city is very cosy and well groomed. Love and hugs to all my nearest:))

Hey there, Here we are, in Tbilisi. We arrived on March 5th and are leaving tomorrow. We stayed at the Holiday Inn hotel but it's very close to Nanushka's place. We spent much time with Nanushka, Zurik, Sopo, Salo, Natashka and Irakliy. One evening we spent with my classmate Yuro Mechitov, Tamila, Lada and Irishka. It was really great and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the dearest people around. Hope to come here again. Love and hugs to all my dearest people:)

Yesterday we had a very warm and nice birthday party at the Georgian restaurant Kavkazskaya Plennitsa at prospect Mira. Slava arranged a surprise party with our close friends, but I had been informed that it would be a romantic evening with only Slava and me. So can you imagine my delight when I saw in a special room for 12 people all our close friends - Alla, Gena, Igor and Natash, Aldemir and Tanya...!!! It was really a suprise! We enjoyed fantastic food, dancing and talking with each other as it's been long since we saw our friends. Thank you Slavochka, my best friend and husband! Hey there,  Marina's birthday is tomorrow (February 15) so the whole family have been to see us on Saturday, the day before. Tomorrow they're visiting Stas and have a small party there.  Anyway, Marina is as busy as a bee, as usual, and it's good. We wish her all the very best in her life!!! Stephan is very serious, he's crazy about Lego and Star Wars. I don't know if it's good. I hope he'll understand himself. Love and hugs to all my nearest.

It was so nice to have the whole family - Stas, Kliment, Katia, Nadya  and Igor at our dacha visiting and eating cakes and candies with us. Kliment has become a very lovely and talkative boy. He can recite poetry and sing songs. But iPad video is his passion too, just like Yanochka. We had a nice talk with Nadya, Igor and Katia. Dear all, I've just returned from a two-day tri to Sacramento and the town of Folsom nearby. Both of th are very green and beautiful. We lived in the Citizen hotel in Sacramento and even managed to visit a Russian Church there ony Angel's Day (January 25th). Here are some pics on this and our prior visit to SF Zoo.
